ARAM ORGANIC FARMERS PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED
A group of committed Organic Farmers got together to establish Aram Organic FPO in 2017. Started with ten farmer members and today the group has grown exponentially with hundred plus members in the fold, Thanks to the various workshops conducted by Aram FPO and the visit to the farms of Legends in Organic Farming, across Tamil Nadu.
ARAM ORGANIC FPO was formally registered in 2018 at Mettupalayam. ARAM is headed by Sri S R Sundararaman Ayya, a well known and expert organic farmer. Aram has begun with a small number, as the requirement is Organic Farming, but we are confident that we would scale up, thanks to the efforts of our executive team.
We have over 100 members and 45 of the members are in the organic certification process. Two farmers are already certified. Another 40 members are under self-certification under the guidance of KVK.

THE OBJECTIVES :
- To exchange the knowledge among the members so that both productivity and quality of our produces are continuously increased.
- To support members to get the organic inputs like compost, bio inputs at
wholesale price and thus reducing the cost of production. - To directly market members products to both retail and bulk consumers to help the
society to get organic food. - To facilitate value addition of our produces and obtain reasonably good return for the members.
- To facilitate export of our members products.
- To buy inputs at wholesale rate and sell our produce at retail
price to enable our farmer members to get good returns. - To support our members with agri implements and machineries to ensure timely and cost effective operations. Members who own the special machineries shall exchange with other members at reasonable cost, to facilitate the small land holding members and to ensure increased utilization of the equipments.
